About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented researcher to join our team in exploring innovative solutions in dementia care, housing, and community design. This position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research while integrating AI technologies to improve healthcare systems and environments. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, along with the ability to communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences.
What you will do?
Conduct and manage research projects related to dementia care, healthcare, and the intersection with AI technology.
Summarize and translate complex research findings into clear, accessible language for a variety of stakeholders, including technical, policy, and community audiences.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams of researchers, designers, and technologists to apply findings to practical, real-world projects.
Ensure all research processes maintain a high level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Contribute to the development of research outputs, such as reports, publications, and presentations, tailored for different audiences.
Manage time and meet deadlines while balancing multiple projects and commitments
What you will have?
Research Experience: Proven experience in academic, professional, or applied research.
Research Methodologies: Strong understanding of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple commitments.
Communication Skills: Experience in summarizing and translating complex research into clear, accessible language for diverse audiences (technical, policy, community).
Writing: Excellent written communication with the ability to adapt to different writing styles.
Attention to Detail: Commitment to accuracy and integrity in research.
Dementia Care Knowledge: Familiarity with dementia care and healthcare practices.
AI Interest/Experience: Familiarity with or interest in AI technology, especially in housing, health, or community design.
Technical Skills (Asset): Experience with coding, data analysis tools, or AI integration.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Background in working with research, technology, and design teams.
Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to apply research findings to real-world, practical solutions.
Knowledge Translation: Experience in public engagement and preparing research outputs for non-specialist audiences.
