
Research & Engineering Associate: Water Quality
Associates are expected to put in a minimum of 5 hours per week and be responsive to emails within 36 hours.
About Us
STW™ is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to conduct water research to identify and remove harmful contaminants in water, and to raise public awareness about water contamination and its health impacts. STW™ also offers educational programs to excite young minds about water science.

SUMMARY:
This role is required to work with leadership to conduct research about legislation on water quality.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research about water quality legislations.
- Connect with government agencies to understand laws and regulations about water quality.
- Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients.
- Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
- Attend weekly/monthly meetings as per schedule.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree completed or equivalent work experience (at least 3 years or more full time paid corporate/non - profit work experience)
- A graduate in Biological ,Chemical or Environmental Engineer
- Experience in working with governmental agencies.
- Good analytical skills and willingness to learn.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Focused attention to detail and critical thinking.
