emote Care Monitoring Volunteer Opportunity

We are currently recruiting volunteers for our RCM Active Together" - A virtual TIME™ at home program to provide support with our weekday programs. This role provides students studying in a related discipline with a unique opportunity to gain experience in a rehab setting. Working alongside our PT and other RCM staff, volunteers provide support to run a virtual Active program for RCM clients. This role will be of particular interest to individuals who have an interest in physiotherapy or administration.

The Salvation Army Toronto Grace Health Centre is a 150 bed facility owned and operated by The Salvation Army. We specialize in complex continuing care, palliative care, and slow paced rehabilitation patients. The hospital is recognized for its innovative and holistic approach to patient care.

Year Round Program Requirements

A minimum of one, 3 hour shifts per week for a period of one year. Shift options are Tuesdays and Thursdays but flexible from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The Team Environment

As a RCM TIME Program volunteer at the Toronto Grace Health Centre, you will become an important and integral member of the RCM team. A professional approach and dedicated commitment to the role is essential to success in this placement area.
