Recycling and Sustainability Volunteer

The People's Pantry Food Recovery Society is a grassroots food rescue initiative that recovers 5000 lbs of nutritious food each week and redistributes it to 500 community members facing food insecurity, keeping it out of the landfill and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

We are looking for volunteers with a truck or SUV to help transport flattened cardboard and other recyclables to the local depot.

Sundays | Pickup between 1:30-2:30 pm | Hope Street in Port Moody

This is a hands-on, behind-the-scenes role that helps us:

• Keep our space clean and safe
• Prevent wildlife issues
• Reduce landfill waste

We welcome volunteers who can help weekly or even 1-2 Sundays per month.
