What You’ll Do:
• Plan and lead recreational activities:
• Organize and facilitate games, sports, arts, and social events that promote community engagement and well-being.
• Engage and motivate participants:
• Encourage active participation, teamwork, and positive interactions among individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
• Ensure safety and supervision:
• Monitor activity areas to maintain a safe environment and address any hazards or behavioral issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members:
• Work with other staff and volunteers to coordinate program delivery and share resources effectively.
• Set up and maintain equipment:
• Prepare and manage recreational materials and spaces before, during, and after activities.
• Provide guidance and support:
• Offer assistance and instruction to participants, adapting activities as needed to accommodate varying abilities.
• Record attendance and report outcomes:
• Maintain accurate records of participant involvement and provide feedback on program success and areas for improvement.
• Promote inclusive programming:
• Ensure activities are accessible and welcoming to diverse populations within the community.
