Join the QEII Foundation and the Halifax Tides FC in rising up for women’s health!
The QEII Foundation is excited to be partnering with the Halifax Tides FC through six 50/50 draws to support women’s health at the QEII Health Sciences Centre and across the province, but we can’t do it without you!
We’re in search of eight 50/50 volunteers to help us sell tickets during six Halifax Tides FC Home Games. Come help us inspire generosity to advance healthcare for women through the QEII and support our city and provinces’ first professional women’s soccer club, who are making waves both on and off the field.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS AND KEY DETAILS:
All games will occur at Wanderer’s Grounds, 5819 Sackville Street, Halifax, NS.
Volunteers are required to attend all six games listed below, for approximately four hours per game. Please see the detailed game dates and start/end times below:
Ticket sales will start 1.5 hours prior to game time and the draw will occur at the 75th minute. Volunteers are welcome to watch the remainder of the game. Training will be provided for all volunteers on the first game date.
A cash honorarium will be provided to all volunteers following the October 15th game.

- Saturday August 9: 5PM-9PM
- Saturday September 6: 1PM-5PM
- Saturday September 13: 11AM-3PM
- Saturday September 27: 1PM -5PM
- Thursday October 2: 5PM-9PM
- Wednesday October 15: 430PM-830PM
