Description of the Role

The project management expert will lead the setup, optimization, and training around ClickUp (and/or similar project management tools) to support LandSeed’s growing portfolio of initiatives. This role involves building workflows, task templates, dashboards, and automations that increase clarity, accountability, and cross-team visibility. You’ll work closely with operations and leadership to ensure systems are aligned with organizational needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage project management systems using ClickUp (or similar platforms).
• Develop and document scalable workflows, templates, and SOPs for various teams.
• Build custom dashboards, automations, and task structures to improve team coordination.
• Audit existing project processes and recommend enhancements to reduce friction and improve flow.
• Train team members and volunteers on platform use, system logic, and best practices.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for project management tools.
• Monitor task/project statuses and ensure alignment with organizational timelines and goals.
• Coordinate with leadership to align tool structure with strategic priorities.
• Maintain a clean, intuitive, and accessible system for users at all levels of tech familiarity.
• Support onboarding efforts by embedding new workflows into the platform.

Required Experience/Skills

• Strong experience using ClickUp or comparable project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Notion, Trello, Airtable, Monday.com).
• Skilled in workflow design, task management systems, and cross-functional coordination.
• Familiarity with automations, custom views, dashboards, and permissions settings.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to train others and translate system design into simple, usable processes.
• Experience managing or supporting remote teams.
• Comfortable working in a mission-driven, evolving nonprofit environment.
• Bonus: Experience in operations, systems thinking, or nonprofit project work.
