Project Director

The Project Director is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the growth, diversification, and successful delivery of Cuso International’s program portfolio. You will lead high-quality proposal development, strengthen partnerships with institutional donors and private sector actors, and ensure excellence in program implementation across areas.

This role blends strategic growth and program delivery, with an initial focus on expanding funding opportunities and building partnerships, evolving into shared responsibility for program management and execution.

Your Impact:

• Lead end-to-end proposal development and drive funding growth
• Build and manage strategic donor and partner relationships
• Provide oversight on program delivery, quality, budgets, and compliance
• Strengthen MEAL practices and support adaptive, evidence-based programming
• Lead and develop high-performing, cross-functional teams

Your Strengths:

• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in international development
• Proven success in securing and managing large-scale programs
• Strong experience in partnerships, donor engagement, and program delivery
• Expertise in MEAL, financial oversight, and operational excellence
• Fluency in English + French or Spanish
