Do you enjoy creative collaboration, data-driven insight, and building online & in-person learning experiences that matter—especially with teams in LMICs? You’ll want to check out this brand new role: Program Manager, Collaboration & Learning (PMCL)!

About Us

Every child born with cleft lip and palate deserves access to Comprehensive Cleft Care (CCC), provided by caring, skilled, local professionals. Together with health teams across Africa, Asia, and the Americas, we’re Transforming Cleft (TC).

About the Opportunity

As the PMCL, you’ll work closely with your TC colleagues to support a burgeoning community of cleft professionals —ensuring they have the tools, opportunities and support to learn from one another across the globe. Central to this role will be driving meaningful engagement with Circle, a digital gathering place for collaboration, learning, and innovation.

This role blends creativity, people-centered facilitation, and strong project management. It’s ideal for someone who moves comfortably between strategy and execution, who listens deeply, and who finds joy in collaboration, both within our Toronto office and with colleagues around the world. Fluency in French would be an important asset in this role.

What You’ll Do

Bring learning opportunities to life

  • Nurture engagement with Circle, ensuring it’s an inviting space where professionals exchange insights, share challenges, and co-create solutions.
  • Support the planning and smooth execution of inspiring global gatherings—virtual or in-person.

Lead thoughtful project management

  • Manage selected global partnership projects, including in francophone Africa, contributing to proposal development, monitoring & evaluation, and ongoing capacity-building.

Help us tell the story of impact

  • Work with our communications team to share partner achievements, learning moments, and program insights.

What You Bring

You’re a thoughtful communicator with a passion for collaboration. You’re energized by learning—both digital and in-person—and skilled at guiding others through processes, ideas, and connections. You balance creativity with organization, and you enjoy helping teams move from possibility to execution.

We imagine you also bring:

  • A relevant university degree (Master’s degree an asset).
  • 5+ years of experience managing international programs
  • Skill in navigating grants, budgets, proposals, and reporting
  • Experience facilitating workshops and hosting meetings
  • Strong digital collaboration skills and an interest in enhancing online learning communities
  • Cross-cultural communication experience—and ideally working fluency in French. Other languages may be an asset.
  • The ability and willingness to travel internationally (up to ~5 weeks per year)

What It’s Like to Work With Us

We’re a tight-knit Toronto-based team, with advisors and board members around the world. You'll report to the Program Director, and collaborate closely with the Sr. Program Manager for Global Initiatives.

TC supports inspiring local partners in responding to local realities in Low and Middle-Income Countries around the world. We welcome new ideas, creative approaches, and people who care deeply about families affected by cleft.

This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid role based in Toronto (typically 3 days in office / 2 days remote). We offer competitive compensation, pay in lieu of benefits, and employer-matching RRSP contribution.

Ready to Apply?

If you’re excited by the idea of strengthening a global learning community, supporting innovative partnerships, and helping more children access life-changing cleft care, we would love to hear from you!
