Program Facilitator (Student Placement)

Role Overview:

Young Bosses in Business Foundation (YBIB) is a youth-focused Canadian charity supporting

entrepreneurship, leadership, and real-world skill-building for young people.

The Program Facilitator supports youth learning by helping lead and deliver program activities.

This role is best suited for post-secondary students looking for facilitation experience. Reports

to the Director of Education & Programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support delivery of lesson plans and activities (guided by program leadership)
• Facilitate small group discussions and help keep youth engaged
• Support classroom management and a positive learning environment
• Help adapt activities to different learning styles and participant needs
• Support feedback collection and simple session reflections as assigned
• Support youth vendors during the Youth Market (our culminating event), including guiding

participants through event-day flow and supporting youth engagement as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

• Best suited for college/university students enrolled in ECE, Child & Youth Care, Social Services, Community Services, Education, or related programs, and completing field

placement hours

• Comfortable speaking to groups and leading youth through activities
• Strong communication, patience, and ability to manage a room respectfully
• Comfortable communicating via WhatsApp for quick coordination and updates
• Willing to follow instructions, policies, and confidentiality expectations
