About Young Bosses in Business Foundation (YBIB)

YBIB is a youth-focused Canadian charity supporting entrepreneurship, leadership, and

real-world skill-building for young people. We deliver programs and opportunities that help

youth build confidence, practical experience, and future-ready skills through mentorship,

community partnerships, and hands-on learning.

Placement Overview (Hybrid)

The Program Facilitator supports youth learning by helping lead and deliver program activities.

This role is best suited for post-secondary students looking for hands-on facilitation experience

and direct work with youth participants. Reports to: Director of Education & Programming

What You’ll Work On

1) Program Delivery Support

• Support delivery of lesson plans and activities (guided by program leadership)
• Facilitate small group discussions and help keep youth engaged
• Support classroom management and a positive learning environment

2) Inclusive Support for Youth Learning

• Help adapt activities to different learning styles and participant needs
• Support youth participation in a respectful, encouraging way

3) Feedback & Session Support

• Support feedback collection and simple session reflections as assigned
• Flag wins, challenges, and improvement ideas to program leadership

4) Youth Market Support (Culminating Event)

• Support youth vendors during the Youth Market, including guiding participants through event-day flow and supporting youth engagement as

assigned

Deliverables (what success looks like)

• Youth are engaged and supported during activities and group discussions
• Sessions run smoothly with strong facilitation support and respectful classroom

management

• Helpful feedback notes and reflections that support continuous improvement
• Reliable support during the Youth Market event-day flow

Ideal Candidate

• College/university student completing placement hours in ECE, Child & Youth Care, Social Services, Community Services, Education, or a related program

• Comfortable speaking to groups and leading youth through activities
• Strong communication, patience, and ability to manage a room respectfully
• Comfortable communicating via WhatsApp for quick coordination and updates
• Willing to follow instructions, policies, and confidentiality expectations
