About Young Bosses in Business Foundation (YBIB)
YBIB is a youth-focused Canadian charity supporting entrepreneurship, leadership, and
real-world skill-building for young people. We deliver programs and opportunities that help
youth build confidence, practical experience, and future-ready skills through mentorship,
community partnerships, and hands-on learning.
Placement Overview (Remote)
The Program Coordinator supports the behind-the-scenes operations that keep programming
organized and running smoothly. This role focuses on admin coordination, tracking, and
communications support (not in-class facilitation). Reports to: Director of Education & Programming
What You’ll Work On
1) Program Coordination (Before & During Cycles)
• Support program planning and coordination tasks before/during program cycles
• Maintain program documentation (trackers, checklists, attendance records, notes)
• Help organize files, forms, and templates related to program delivery
2) Registration, Intake & Feedback
• Support registration and intake processes (forms, confirmations, basic tracking)
• Support feedback collection (surveys/forms) and organize results for review
3) Parent & Participant Communications
• Assist with parent/participant communications (email follow-ups, reminders, updates)
• Help ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and sent on time
4) Tracking & Internal Documentation
• Support timesheet tracking and internal reporting documentation as assigned
• Keep coordination trackers up to date and flag items needing follow-up
5) Youth Market Support (Culminating Event)
• Support Youth Market coordination tasks, including vendor communications, checklists, logistics support, and day-of coordination as assigned
Deliverables (what success looks like)
• Up-to-date trackers and checklists that keep program operations on schedule
• Smooth communication flow (reminders, updates, follow-ups) to participants/parents
• Organized program files and forms that are easy for the team to access and reuse
• Reliable coordination support leading into the Youth Market event
Ideal Candidate
• College/university student completing placement hours in ECE, Child & Youth Care, Social Services, Community Services, Education, or a related program
• Strong organization, professional communication, and attention to detail
• Comfortable using (or learning) Google Suite, Trello, Canva, and WhatsApp
• Willing to follow instructions, policies, and confidentiality expectations
