Role Overview:
Young Bosses in Business Foundation (YBIB) is a youth-focused Canadian charity supporting
entrepreneurship, leadership, and real-world skill-building for young people.
The Program Coordinator supports the behind-the-scenes operations that keep programming
organized and running smoothly. This role focuses on admin coordination, tracking, and
communications support (not in-class facilitation). Reports to the Director of Education &
Programming.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support program planning and coordination tasks before/during program cycles
• Support registration, intake, feedback collection (surveys/forms)
• Assist with parent/participant communications (email follow-ups, reminders, updates)
• Maintain program documentation (trackers, checklists, attendance records, notes)
• Support timesheet tracking and internal reporting documentation as assigned
• Help organize files and forms related to program delivery
• Support Youth Market coordination tasks (our culminating event), including vendor
communications, checklists, logistics support, and day-of coordination as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
• Best suited for college/university students enrolled in ECE, Child & Youth Care, Social Services, Community Services, Education, or related programs, and completing field
placement hours
• Strong organization, professional communication, and attention to detail
• Comfortable using or learning Google Suite, Trello, canva and whatsapp
• Willing to follow instructions, policies, and confidentiality expectations
