Help us capture memorable moments at our Saturday, February 7th, 3:30pm-7:30pm “YSM Winter Walk for Neighbours in Need!” Community Walk-A-Thon Event!

At Yonge Street Mission (YSM) we recognize the value that stories and imagery can play in highlighting and promoting the impact of our work and events. With this in mind, we're seeking a volunteer to help us capture pictures that will successfully highlight and promote our "YSM Winter Walk for Neighbours in Need!" Community Walk-A-Thon! A volunteer confirmation letter of reference will be provided!

VOLUNTEER ROLE/DUTIES:

Take photos of: Event donors/staff/volunteers, as well as Event walkers and their team checking in, on their walk departure, on their walking route and arrival back, etc.

Take lots of close-up shots and candid shots of donor speeches.

Upload photographs throughout the event.

Provide creative suggestions, to help create a set of dynamic and diverse photo images

Assist with the following: processing, cataloging, file naming, and storing photographs

– Assist staff with collecting appropriate photo release waivers

POSITION HOURS/ COMMITMENT:

Date: Saturday, February, 2026

Duration: 3:30pm-7:30pm

Commitment: One day, for duration of event, from 3:30pm-7:30pm

Location: 227 Bloor Street East and 270 Gerrard Street East.
