Lakeridge Health Foundation is seeking a Philanthropy Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our mission to strengthen community bonds and advance health care. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, values meaningful work, and brings exceptional organizational and communication skills.

About the Role:

As a vital member of the Philanthropy Team, the Philanthropy Coordinator provides essential administrative database, and donor recognition support. You will serve as a welcoming point of contact for visitors and inquiries, ensuring the team is organized and able to build strong relationships within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate prospect and donor records in Raisers’ Edge, ensuring timely and complete data entry
  • Assist with building lists, preparing reports, and running database metrics
  • Support donor engagement activities, including correspondence, briefing materials, and event coordination
  • Liaise with donors and prospective donors, answering inquiries and providing exceptional service
  • Collaborate with the Stewardship Officer on thank you calls, donor reports, and recognition initiatives
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, answering phones/emails, and assisting with philanthropy events

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous administrative or receptionist experience (non-profit experience preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong customer service abilities
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with fundraising databases (preferably Raiser’s Edge)
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Passion for health care and commitment to supporting the meaningful work of Lakeridge Health
