As we expand our programs and digital initiatives, we are looking for a dedicated and mission-driven Partnerships Manager to help us build strong, meaningful relationships with organizations, institutions, and individuals who share our vision for a compassionate future.
Position Overview
The Partnerships Manager (Volunteer) will be responsible for developing, nurturing, and managing strategic partnerships that support the Foundation’s mission, campaigns, and long-term sustainability.
This role involves outreach, relationship building, collaboration with internal teams, and identifying opportunities for co-branded initiatives, resource sharing, and ethical sponsorships.
The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, a natural connector, and someone who believes deeply in the power of collaboration to create systemic change for animals and communities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership Development
- Identify, research, and prioritize potential partners across sectors including nonprofits, educational institutions, student groups, ethical businesses, media outlets, and advocacy networks.
- Develop partnership proposals tailored to the needs and interests of potential collaborators.
- Initiate outreach and build relationships with organizations whose values align with animal rights, humane education, and compassion-driven advocacy.
Relationship Management
- Maintain ongoing communication with current and prospective partners to foster long-term collaboration.
- Coordinate partnership meetings, presentations, and follow-up communications.
- Manage partner agreements, expectations, and shared deliverables in collaboration with the Executive Director.
- Track partnership outcomes and ensure commitments are fulfilled on both sides.
Program & Campaign Support
- Work with the Youth Programs Manager to expand university and college partnerships.
- Collaborate with the Social Media and Communications teams to highlight partner contributions and co-branded campaigns.
- Support fundraising and awareness events by securing sponsors, co-hosts, or collaborators.
- Assist with arranging expert speakers, workshop facilitators, or panelists for events and educational programs.
Ethical Sponsorship & Funding Opportunities
- Explore values-aligned sponsorships with cruelty-free, sustainable, and ethical companies.
- Identify opportunities for grants, joint initiatives, or shared resource development.
- Ensure all partnerships reflect the Foundation’s values, mission, and brand integrity.
Internal Collaboration
- Coordinate with leadership and program managers to ensure partnerships support organizational goals.
- Attend virtual team meetings and contribute to strategic planning discussions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of partnership records, contacts, and deliverables.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to create compelling partnership proposals and presentations.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Passion for animal rights, humane education, or ethical advocacy.
- Comfortable reaching out to organizations, businesses, and institutions.
Preferred
- Experience in partnerships, fundraising, business development, community engagement, or nonprofit work.
- Understanding of sponsorship agreements, donor stewardship, or corporate social responsibility.
- Ability to represent the organization professionally in strategic discussions.
- Experience using CRM tools to track partnerships and relationships.
