Minerva is a Vancouver-based charity dedicated to advancing economic and leadership opportunities for women and girls. Our mission is to change the face of leadership by elevating the visibility, influence, and contribution of women in BC. We specialize in delivering high-impact programs that equip women and girls with the knowledge and tools they need to step into their full potential. We also support the business and wider community in implementing attitudes and systems that champion women’s achievement and propel them into leadership positions.
The Opportunity
Minerva is looking for a highly organized, creative, and systems-minded communicator to join our team as a Partnerships & Digital Engagement Specialist. This is a hybrid position, with 3 days in-office in downtown Vancouver reporting to the Director of Partnerships and Development.
This is a unique role that sits at the intersection of partnership experience, storytelling, events, and digital engagement.
This role supports Minerva’s revenue and reputation by:
● Delivering excellent partnership experiences through events and benefit fulfillment
● Building systems that generate and nurture inbound interest in Minerva’s programs and initiatives

Fixed Term Position
This is a fixed-term maternity/parental leave position with an anticipated end date of December 2027. Subject to organizational need and funding, there may be a possibility of extension; however, an extension is not guaranteed.
What You’ll Do
Partnerships, Donor Stewardship & Events (45%)
● Coordinate and deliver sponsor and donor benefits across programs and events
● Support partner and donor communications, reporting, and ongoing touchpoints
● Lead coordination for key Minerva events including a new corporate initiative Lead BC, the Inclusive Leadership Forum, and our year-end gratitude gathering
● Ensure events are used intentionally for engagement, storytelling, and follow-up
● Capture stories, testimonials, and content from events to support communications
● Help partners amplify Minerva’s work through simple tools and content
Communications, Digital Marketing & Audience Growth (35%)
● Lead content planning and production for Minerva’s monthly newsletter and key communications
● Ensure consistent, values-aligned brand presence across website, social media, email, and print
● Create impact stories, case studies, and support development of the Annual Impact Report
● Build and maintain a library of stories, testimonials, and communications assets
● Serve as liaison with Minerva’s social media agency to guide and align monthly content
● Develop and manage email journeys (welcome, event follow-up, donor and program nurture)
● Design and execute paid digital campaigns (LinkedIn, Instagram) to grow participation and subscriptions
● Strengthen digital pathways from awareness → interest → participation leveraging engagement data to improve content and campaigns
Systems, CRM & Lead Management (20%)
● Maintain clean, accurate partner and donor data in CRM (Keela)
● Capture and route inbound interest from events, website, and campaigns for follow-up
● Support simple reporting on engagement, campaigns, events, and leads
● Help build repeatable systems and playbooks for communications and campaigns

● CRM is up-to-date and useful for tracking engagement
● The team has better visibility into communications, engagement, and partner activity
What You Bring
You likely have 3–5 years of experience in communications, digital marketing, partnerships support, or a similar role, and:
● Strong writing and content creation skills
● Experience with email marketing and social media strategy
● Comfort working with tools like Canva, Mailchimp, WordPress, Google Analytics, and CRM systems
● Experience supporting events and stakeholder engagement
● An eye for systems, organization, and follow-through
● A collaborative, adaptable approach to working across teams
● Interest in gender equity, leadership, and community impact
Experience in a non-profit environment and working with external agencies is an asset.

Minerva aims to pay at fair market rates compared with other non-profits of similar size and revenue in Vancouver. The expected salary range for this role is $61,000 - $69,000 plus comprehensive benefits, including 3 weeks paid vacation and paid leave during our December holiday office closure.
Additional Details
This position is Vancouver-based and currently offers a hybrid schedule with three days in office and two remote days per week. This is subject to change based on operational requirements. Our office is located on the 3rd floor with an elevator for access, and bus and Skytrain nearby.

The interview process at Minerva typically includes two interviews. Selected candidates will be invited to a 45-minute interview hosted via video conference. After the initial screening, another round of selected candidates will be invited to participate in a 60-minute in-person interview at the Minerva office.
