POSITION SUMMARY:
The Partnerships and Relations Director is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding
strategic relationships that advance the organization’s mission, growth, and impact.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Building and maintaining relationships: Identify, establish, and nurture beneficial partnerships
with corporations, nonprofits, government agencies, sport institutions, and other stakeholders
to enhance organizational reach and effectiveness. - Developing partnership strategies: Design and implement partnership strategies that align with organizational objectives, including geographic expansion, program growth, and revenue
generation. - Negotiating and managing agreements: Lead the negotiation, execution, and management of
partnership agreements, ensuring they support mutual goals and comply with organizational
policies. - Driving partner engagement: Serve as the primary liaison to partners, facilitating
communication, collaboration, and the successful delivery of joint initiatives. - Identifying new opportunities: Research and prospect for new partners, develop plans for
partner acquisition and retention, and evaluate partnership efficacy through key performance
indicators (KPIs). - Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with internal teams—such as marketing,
development, operations, and executive leadership—to ensure partnership activities are
integrated and support broader organizational strategies. - Stewardship and reporting: Maintain tracking systems for partnership activities, provide regular updates to leadership, and ensure timely reporting to partners and stakeholders
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION:
We are looking for someone with the following skills: strategic thinking and vision, negotiation and
persuasion, relationship-building and communication, analytical and market research abilities, project and stakeholder management.

WPHC vision is to contribute to the health and well-being of girls and women+ with disabilities by developing, promoting, and providing opportunities to participate in the sport of para hockey from grassroots development to an elite level throughout Canada.
