KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnership Development & Relationship Building
- Identify potential corporate, community, government departments/programs and institutional partners aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
- Initiate and nurture relationships with prospective partners through outreach, introductions, and networking.
- Support the development of mutually beneficial partnership opportunities (financial, in-kind, or strategic).
- Attain the area/location targets/goals for the forming of successful partnership as well as signing of funding MoUs within the agreed cycle period.
Stakeholder Engagement & Representation
- Act as an ambassador for the organization at community events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
- Represent the organization professionally and consistently in external communications.
- Build long-term relationships that support trust, credibility, and collaboration
Collaboration & Internal Support
- Work closely with leadership, board members, and staff to align partnership efforts with organizational priorities.
- Share insights, contacts, and opportunities with the internal team.
- Support cross-functional initiatives that involve external partners.
Partnership Strategy & Growth
- Contribute ideas and insights to strengthen the organization’s partnership strategy.
- Help identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in partnership development within the non-profit sector.
- Assist in prioritizing high-impact partnership opportunities.
Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain basic records of partnership contacts and engagement activities within BEC CRM
- Provide weekly updates on outreach efforts, conversations, and partnership progress.
- Support stewardship and follow-up with existing partners.
