We’re the first and only 24/7 e-mental health service in the country and a global leader in innovation for youth and their well-being.
The Opportunity
As a Teaching Assistant, you will collaborate with a Crisis Responder Coach to ensure that crisis responders, volunteers from across Canada, have a best-in-class training experience as they learn to support service users. Your work will contribute to our key texting service indicators (KPIs), contributing to a consistent and supportive training experience.
What You'll do
- Grade a high volume of quizzes and activities in a standardized training
- Provide structured and customized feedback to support crisis responder trainees in their learning and development
- Provide input into training materials and program newsletters
- Participate in team meetings, projects and alignment on training materials and communications
- Support the overall success and readiness of volunteers
What You'll Need
- Pursuing a degree or diploma in a social work or education-related field
- Experience learning or teaching in an online environment preferred
- Comfortable working independently and remotely
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
- Possess an acceptable "Vulnerable Person Sector Criminal Reference Check" prior to starting employment (can be conducted by the organization for successful candidates)

- Ability to focus in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Commitment to the promise and purpose of the organization
- As this is a remote position, you must have stable internet and telephone lines and a workspace that promotes confidentiality and minimizes distractions.
- Flexibility and willingness to work in a 24/7 environment, including evening and weekend work
- Ability to secure an acceptable “Vulnerable Person Sector Criminal Reference Check”
- Ability to travel to KHP offices as required
