About Empowered Futures
Empowered Futures (EF) is a Canadian non-profit dedicated to empowering emerging adults as they navigate the transition into adulthood. Through mentorship, self-empowerment workshops, and accessible resources, EF helps young people build confidence, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and hope for their future. With a strong focus on mental wellness and community building, EF creates meaningful connections between youth, mentors, and partners, ensuring that the next generation is equipped with the tools and support they need to thrive personally and professionally.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate outreach initiatives, ensuring timely follow-up with sponsors, donors, and partners.

- Maintain records of outreach activities, communications, and sponsor recognition deliverables.

- Schedule meetings, calls, and events with external stakeholders and EF team members.

- Support the preparation and organization of outreach materials, proposals, and reports.

- Assist the Outreach & Partnerships Specialist(s) in follow-up, tracking responses, and maintaining engagement pipelines.

- Collaborate with EF’s Engagement Lead, Director of Partnerships & Engagement, and cross-functional teams to ensure outreach activities are aligned and executed smoothly.

- Attend weekly Outreach & Partnerships team meetings and EF-wide town halls.

Qualifications:

- 1–2 years of experience in coordination, administration, communications, or nonprofit support.

- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred.

- Equivalent combination of education and relevant coordination experience will also be considered.

- Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.

- Comfortable managing schedules, records, and communications in a fast-moving environment.

- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and maintain professionalism with external partners.

- Prior administrative, coordination, or project support experience preferred.

- Proficient in digital collaboration tools (Google Suite, Airtable, CRM systems a plus).

- Passionate about supporting EF’s mission of youth empowerment and community engagement.

This is a part-time and unpaid volunteer position (9-10 hours a week)
