Outreach and Campaign Coordinator

Outreach and Campaign Coordinator (Volunteer)

Planet Watch is a volunteer‑powered climate‑action organization based in Ontario, working to expand our reach into local neighbourhoods and worldwide communities. We use climate storytelling, education, and grassroots mobilization to inspire action. As we grow, we’re launching new outreach and campaign initiatives — and we’re looking for someone who wants to help build momentum from the ground up.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who cares deeply about climate justice and wants to help activate supporters. The role focuses on outreach and campaign coordination — connecting with community groups, promoting climate‑action initiatives, and helping build a wider network of supporters.

A key early priority will be supporting our first wave of grassroots fundraising, including small‑scale crowdfunding efforts. These initial funds will help Planet Watch expand our campaigns, strengthen our outreach, and improve our impact. As we build momentum, the role will evolve into broader campaign support, community engagement, and mobilization.

What You’ll Do

• Connect with local and global climate‑action communities
• Support outreach to individuals, groups, and partner organizations
• Help promote digital campaigns, petitions, and climate‑action initiatives
• Assist with early‑stage grassroots fundraising and crowdfunding drives
• Help build a growing movement around climate education and activism

What You Bring

• Passion for climate justice and community action
• Comfort speaking with people online or in person
• Interest in outreach, communications, or campaign organizing
• A willingness to help build something meaningful from the ground up

Why This Matters

Planet Watch is expanding — and your work will help us reach more communities, activate more supporters, and build the foundation for future campaigns and fundraising. This is a chance to be part of a movement at a pivotal moment.
