Our Funding Committee Needs New Energy - Can you help?

Kids Up Front Vancouver is a little charity delivering a huge impact. We accept, solicit and distribute event and experience donations to give for free to kids, youth and families supported through our network of 90+ charities and not for profits. We provide our services to local agencies who serve families in need, kids facing barriers and youth challenged by social, physical, mental and/or emotional challenges. We distributed 22,434 opportunities in 2025 with a collective value of $931,000 all with 1.65 FTE.

An empty seat is a lost opportunity for a child! We need to build broader brand awareness to connect with corporate and personal donors who own those seasons tickets so that they can donate them for a tax receipt and share that experience with a child or youth who will be grateful for the opportunity. We need to identify sources of funding so that we can fulfill more requests and ensure that empty program spaces are accessed by kids who want access but don't have the same opportunities as their neighbours and classmates. And we need to build up our monthly donor base to help Kids Up Front plan with greater certainty as they steward the resources they are given with great integrity and passion for impactful change.
