About the Role

At Give Direct Response Inc., we help nonprofits raise the funds they need to change lives. Our work is built on precision — and we’re looking for an Operations Director who shares that obsession with detail.

This is a 1-year contract role (22–30 hours/week). The person we hire will be a steady hand on the wheel: someone who can take the moving parts of direct mail production, internal workflows, and data processes — and keep them running like clockwork.

What You’ll Do

  • Direct Mail Production: Own the process from start to finish — coordinating timelines, reviewing proofs, managing vendors, and ensuring campaigns hit mailboxes flawlessly.
  • Project Operations: Keep projects moving by maintaining schedules, anticipating bottlenecks, and communicating clearly with internal and external partners.
  • Quality Control: Spot issues before they become problems. Double-check the numbers, the creative, and the data so that every campaign goes out right, the first time.
  • Process Leadership: Bring structure to our growing local team. You’ll help define best practices and refine systems that keep everyone aligned.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our distributed team and be available during agency core hours, with weekly in-office collaboration in Mississauga or Toronto (Wednesdays).

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves:

  • Based in Mississauga or Toronto.
  • Direct mail production experience.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability during agency core hours + weekly in-office presence.

Nice-to-haves (compensation may reflect added expertise):

  • Experience in data science, analytics, or data hygiene.
  • Client service background.
  • Digital project management experience.
  • Fundraising or nonprofit sector experience.

Compensation & Extras

  • Contract value of $60,000–$80,000 (for 22–30 hours per week, depending on experience).
  • Eligible for an annual technology bonus.
  • Eligible for an agency summer break bonus.
