Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office & Program Coordinator to support daily operations and help coordinate programs, events, and administrative activities.
This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys variety in their work, and takes pride in keeping systems efficient and organized. This role reports to the Executive Director of AWMAC BC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Executive Director and office team
  • Coordinate programs, meetings, and events, ensuring smooth execution
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and administrative systems
  • Support internal workflows and assist with process improvements
  • Coordinate member communications and administrative aspects of association programs
  • Support the administration of membership records and related processes
  • Assist with general office operations and coordination tasks as needed

Qualifications & Skills

  • Post-secondary education in administration, business, communications, or related field (asset)
  • Experience in an administrative or coordination role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional, reliable, and self-motivated
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment

Compensation

  • Salary: $52,000 – $56,000 depending on experience
