
Office Coordinator
The Office Coordinator is expected to provide administrative support to the functioning of the BCSTH office, the Executive Director and Board Directors. This position will also coordinate social media communications and assist with the administration of membership supports. The BCSTH Office Coordinator will be supervised by the BCSTH Director of Finance and Operations.
Who you are: You are someone who loves to organize and pays attention to the little details. As the Office Coordinator, you will be working on-site to keep the office running smoothly. The Office Coordinator is a key member of the team and is not considered an entry level position.
In general, the Coordinator is the front desk and go-to person in our office, providing a variety of professional support services. The Coordinator will perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties necessary to run an organization committed to ending violence against women, children and youth efficiently. As the Office Coordinator, they also support implementing social media and communications coordination and delivery to support communications to the membership of the BC Society of Transition Houses (BCSTH). The Office Coordinator is expected to carry out the work of the organization to achieve the overall mission and the strategic plan for the organization as established and approved by the Board of Directors.
