We’re looking for motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team in the role of Toronto Office Administrative Volunteer. This is an in-person opportunity to support our head office team and help us run smoothly behind the scenes.

Are you the right fit for the team?

As part of our administrative support team, you’ll help with important day-to-day tasks that keep our office operations on track. Supported by the Coordinator, Office and Contact Services, your role will include:

  • Adhering to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada policies and procedures, including the Volunteer Code of Conduct
  • Preparing mailings for donor communications and advocacy campaigns (e.g. GoHere Washroom Access Program, Major Gifts Program)
  • Using our postage meter to apply accurate postage
  • Scanning, filing, and organizing documents for records retention
  • Logging and boxing documents for storage
  • Helping manage inventory of promotional materials and supplies
  • Entering supporter address updates into Excel

You’ll also play a role in keeping our space organized and running efficiently – something our entire team truly appreciates.

Time Commitment:

  • 2 hours a week
  • Shifts available: Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday mornings (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)
  • Minimum commitment: 4 months (longer-term volunteers are very welcome!)
  • We are currently looking for two volunteers to help cover these shift

What you bring:

You don’t need to be an expert—you just need to bring your passion and reliability! You’d be a great fit if you:

  • Have strong attention to detail and like to keep things organized
  • Enjoy working independently and take initiative
  • Are comfortable using Excel and basic office equipment
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in English
  • Are adaptable, motivated, and eager to contribute to a supportive team environment.
