Here’s what your primary responsibilities would be:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, from job posting to offer, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Provide consultative support to managers and employees on HR policies, performance management, and development.
  • Administer and maintain the HRIS (EmployerD), including employee changes, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs, including compliance training and buddy assignments.
  • Working within the LMS, maintain accurate user records and participate in the creation of training modules.
  • Support benefits administration and employee leaves, resolving issues with providers as needed.
  • Lead and promote health, safety, and wellness initiatives, including mental health programs.
  • Implement and coordinate employee recognition programs and internal training activities.
  • Maintain accurate digital employee records and support payroll documentation.
  • Track HR metrics, maintain organizational charts, and support annual HR initiatives.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to HR programs aligned with best practices.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management; CHRP/CPHR candidate preferred.
  • 3–5 years of generalist HR experience, including full-cycle recruitment.
  • Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems; strong Microsoft Office 365 skills (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams etc).
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset.

Working Style

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across video, phone, and email.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Service-oriented with sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Note this is a temporary contract to cover a parental leave.

Anticipated start is early October for 12 months.

Salary Range: Hiring range anticipated to be $59,000-$67,000, commensurate on the skills and experience of selected candidate.

Location Preference: Anywhere within Canada. This is a remote-first position.
