Kin Canada is a proud, national service association made up of hundreds of locally operated community service clubs across the country. For more than a century, our volunteers have been improving lives, strengthening communities, and fostering fellowship through meaningful service.
We are currently seeking a value-driven, skilled volunteer to join our National Board of Directors as a National Director. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise at a national level while supporting an Association that is dedicated to service, inclusion, and positive community impact.
About the role:
As a National Director, you will help guide the newly developed long-term strategic direction of Kin Canada, ensuring the Association continues to thrive and serve communities across Canada. Board members act in the best interests of the Association, its stakeholders, and the communities it supports.
As a National Director you will be expected to fulfill the legal and fiduciary responsibilities of a National Director while contributing thoughtfully to board generative discussions and strategic decisions.
You will be ideal for this role if you are passionate about strong, ethical governance, organizational sustainability and growth, community service and volunteerism and national-level leadership and stakeholder collaboration. Successful candidates will demonstrate integrity, accountability, solid ethical standards, strong interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative approach, and an understanding of or willingness to learn policy-based governance.

Eligibility Note
For the purpose of this position, a Non-Kin Member is defined as an individual who:
- Is not a current or active life member of any Kin Canada club, and
- Has never held such membership in the past.
