Mid-Level Video Animator & Illustrator (VOLUNTEER)
About Us:
The Canadian Center for Women’s Empowerment (CCFWE) is a national nonprofit based in Ottawa and the only organization in Canada solely dedicated to addressing economic abuse—a form of gender-based violence where individuals are controlled through money, housing, employment, and access to financial resources.
Our mission is to empower survivors of domestic violence to achieve economic security, independence, and dignity. We do this by raising public awareness, providing survivor-centered education, and advocating for systemic change in the financial, legal, and housing sectors.
We believe economic safety is a human right, and education is one of the most powerful tools to achieve it.
