
Mentorship Program Lead - Youth Development
This is a part-time and unpaid volunteer position (8-10 hours a week)

Role Description
The Mentorship Program Development Lead will own the entire mentorship journey by creating structured and scalable frameworks. Responsibilities include identifying participant (mentees) needs, executing mentor-mentee onboarding and matching, facilitating regular engagement with and between mentor - mentee and measuring impact. Identify, design, and facilitate workshops, learning sessions, and skill-building activities to enhance the mentor and mentee experience
Key responsibilities :
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of Empowered Futures’ digital mentorship programs
- Design and implement a mentor–mentee matching framework that aligns participants based on interests, goals, skills, availability, and development needs
- Design and oversee structured onboarding and training content for mentors and mentees to ensure a smooth and engaging experience
- Develop a structured mentorship journey, including program timelines, milestones, check-ins, and success criteria
- Identify, design, and facilitate workshops, learning sessions, and skill-building activities to enhance the mentor and mentee experience
- Collaborate closely with the IT to enhance and optimize the digital mentorship platform where mentors and mentees register, onboard, and engage.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and cross-functional stakeholders to assess and enhance the mentorship curriculum
- Lead and mentor a team of Program Strategists by providing direction, support, and ongoing guidance to achieve program goals
- Analyze program data and feedback to identify trends, measure impact, and recommend improvements for continuous growth.
- Build and maintain partnerships with external organizations to expand the reach, quality, and impact of mentorship initiatives.
Experience and Skills:
- Proven minimum 5 years experience in Learning and Development, Talent Development, or Educational field
- Strong passion for mentorship and youth development, with a commitment to empowering emerging adults.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
