Membership and Outreach Coordinator (Toronto)

General Description

The Membership and Outreach Coordinator’s primary responsibilities will be to coordinate the promotion of Union Savings with the affiliates. This position will work out of the Toronto office and will require a substantive amount of travelling. The Membership and Outreach Coordinator will be required to have a valid driver’s license.

The Membership and Outreach Coordinator will be a full-time position.

Salary

$65,000/year, plus benefits per policy

Reporting

The Membership and Outreach Coordinator will report to the Membership and Outreach Director.

Responsibilities

The Membership and Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for the following items of Union Savings including:

  1. Develop, update and maintain the Union Savings affiliate contact list.
  2. Establish and maintain relationships with affiliates.
  3. Organize regular meetings with affiliates to discuss promotion and participation in the Union Savings programs.
  4. Attend and participate in affiliate events and member meetings to discuss Union Savings.
  5. In consultation with the Membership and Outreach Director, develop and implement strategies for the recruitment of new affiliates.
  6. Tracking all affiliate communications and inquiries.
  7. In coordination with the Membership and Outreach Director promote Union Savings discount and savings program to affiliates and broader membership.
  8. As directed by the Executive Director attend affiliate conventions.
  9. In coordination with the Membership and Outreach Director, conduct site visits to union offices as required.
  10. In coordination with the Membership and Outreach Director, develop

and execute the Union Savings affiliate outreach strategy.

  1. Develop and maintain Publications Calendar.
  2. Develop and maintain Affiliate Event Calendar.
  3. As directed by the Executive Director attending meetings with Union Savings Commercial partners.
  4. Other duties related to affiliates as directed.

Internal

The Membership and Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for the following meeting related items of Union Savings including:

  1. Participate in Union Savings meetings as directed.
  2. Develop and implement publications strategy.
  3. Maintain up-to-date records related to commercial partners.
  4. Assist in the preparations of reports for Union Savings meeting.
  5. Other meeting duties as assigned.

Commercial Partners

The Membership and Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for the following commercial partners related items of Union Savings including:

  1. As directed by the Executive Director attend commercial partners meetings and events.
  2. Other duties related to commercial partners as directed.

Other Duties

From time-to-time the Membership and Outreach Coordinator may be directed to perform other duties not listed in this job description.
