About the Organization

Living Channel Services is a Canadian registered charity dedicated to creating environments where children with disabilities and their families can thrive in Rwanda.

Our goal is to help every child live their best, fullest life — today, tomorrow, and together — through inclusive education, community empowerment, and access to healthcare.

🙌 Opportunity Description:

We are growing our mission and inviting compassionate individuals in Canada to join us as volunteers and board members.

Volunteer Roles

You can serve remotely or locally in Alberta, depending on your interest and skills.

Opportunities include:

Social Media & Communications: Help share our story and grow awareness online.

Fundraising & Donor Relations: Support campaigns, thank donors, and build community.

Grant Writing & Research: Help us identify and apply for new funding opportunities.

Administrative or Virtual Support: Assist with project coordination, design, or reports.

Commitment: Flexible (a few hours weekly or monthly).

We are also seeking new Board Members in Canada.

Ideal candidates:

Have experience or interest in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, finance, education, or community development.

Are passionate about inclusion and helping children with disabilities.

Can attend quarterly board meetings (online or in-person).

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic vision and oversight.

Support fundraising, partnerships, and advocacy.

Represent and promote our mission in their networks.

This is a volunteer leadership role offering purpose, collaboration, and impact.
