Member Sales and Services Representative

JOB SUMMARY

The Ontario Electrical League (OEL) is seeking a driven and service-oriented Member Sales and Services Representative to support our growth and enhance our member experience. Reporting to the President, this position is based in the GTA and requires travel throughout Ontario. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, customer service, and/or the construction or electrical sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales - Setting and achieving geographic sales targets:

• Promote OEL’s profile and benefits to the broader electrical sector, including direct outreach to potential members
• Plan, lead, and attend internal and external events that engage the electrical sector
• Drive membership growth and industry engagement in assigned regions

Customer Service - Enhancing member value and experience:

• Conduct annual Member Business Wellness meetings to assess and support member needs
• Provide direct support to regional members and chapters
• Collaborate with and support OEL Chapter volunteers to ensure strong local connections and high-quality events
• Build and maintain relationships with external program partners to expand value offerings to members

Sales Systems & Tools:

• Serve as the internal expert on sales systems and tools
• Ensure effective use of tools across the organization
• Provide guidance and support to staff in optimizing outreach and engagement

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in sales, customer service, and/or the construction or electrical industry
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Willing and able to travel regularly within Ontario
