Are you interested in getting involved and making a difference in the support and care we provide for our seniors? At Villa Colombo Toronto (VCT) our vision is to be “Our community’s trusted provider of exceptional care”. The challenges facing healthcare require leaders with a broad set of skills to help guide the organization through a period of profound system change, while preserving and enhancing the quality of life we provide for our residents.

To continue to do so, we seek accomplished leaders to join our committed Board of Governors. We are currently interested in individuals who have experience in the following areas:

• Long Term Care / Geriatrician
• Medical / Clinical
• Accounting / Financial
• Business Management
• Community / Social Services
• Risk Management
• Communications
• Information Technology
• Project Management
• Legal

Who can get involved?

Board meetings are held in person at VCT. Applicants must live in the Toronto/GTA region and possess skills, experience and areas of expertise as identified above. Prior experience in accounting or long term care facilities would be an asset.

A time commitment of approximately 8 hours per month is required. Previous experience in a non-profit or senior-level experience in complex organizations is preferred.
