The Canadian MAiD Curriculum is a nationally accredited, bilingual education program designed to provide healthcare professionals with evidence-informed training related to MAiD practice in Canada. The program supports healthcare professionals and teams by strengthening knowledge, consistency, and confidence in navigating the complex clinical, legal, and ethical considerations related to MAiD.

CAMAP is seeking a consultant who can help expand awareness, engagement, and enrollment in the CMC among healthcare organizations, providers, and other key stakeholders across Canada.

  • Review and refine existing promotional materials to support institutional outreach
  • Adapt messaging for different audiences and regions as needed

  • Support CAMAP in clearly communicating the value and benefits of the CMC

Reporting & Recommendations

  • Provide regular updates on outreach activities, opportunities, and barriers
  • Track contacts, conversations, and potential leads
  • Provide final recommendations to support ongoing institutional engagement beyond the contract period

  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system, including provincial and territorial structures
  • Understanding of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) in Canada, including the clinical and professional context surrounding MAiD practice
  • Experience working with healthcare organizations, academic institutions, governments, professional associations, or continuing medical education programs
