
Marketing Manager, Social Media

Position Summary
The Marketing Manager, Social Media leads the overall platform strategy, content execution, and audience engagement across all organic and paid social channels. This role translates high-level marketing objectives into high-performing social campaigns that elevate brand awareness, foster active digital communities, and drive measurable traffic and sales pipeline growth. You will collaborate across teams including design and technology.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Campaign Execution
- Develop, launch, and optimize social media strategies aligned with the company’s vision.
- Support the Marketing Coordinator, Social Media in creating light-lift social media creative assets.
Content Creation & Brand Positioning
- Provide guidance to the President in establishing a consistent, platform-native brand voice and visual aesthetic across all published touchpoints.
- Provide guidance to the President in conceptualizing and producing multimedia content (short-form video, copy, graphics) independently and in collaboration with creative teams.
- Monitor cultural trends, platform changes, and emerging media to capitalize on real-time marketing opportunities.
Analytics, Optimization & Reporting
- Define key metrics (engagement rate, reach, click-through rate, conversions, and share of voice) and track monthly performance.
- Support in the Marketing Coordinator, Social Media in delivering monthly dashboards translating social analytics into actionable business decisions and ROI.
Qualifications
- Graduated or enrolled in a University degree or College diploma or certificate program in Communications, Marketing or Social Media.
- Have 2-5 years of experience in communications, bonus if you have social media specific experience
- You have experience developing and/or executing on a communications plan
- Strong knowledge of using LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Tik Tok
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Possess high levels of creative skills, thinking outside of the box
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Have a passion for innovation and building strong communities
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to keep on top of workload
- Able to commit to one year with the organization
- Sound computer skills including operating Google Suite
- Strong interpersonal skills
