ABOUT TRACK3

Ontario Track3 is a registered nonprofit organization that changes lives by providing empowering adaptive sport experiences to young athletes with disabilities, their families, and the broader community. Based in Ontario with our flagship alpine program at Craigleith Ski Club in The Blue Mountains, Track3 serves athletes across the province through alpine skiing and our growing Adventure for Every Ability off-snow portfolio.

We operate on three core values: Inclusion. Ability. Freedom.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Track3 is at an exciting inflection point. With a healthy financial surplus, a growing athlete community, and three new off-snow programs launching this season, we are investing in the people and infrastructure needed to take the organization to the next level.

You will be building on the current structure of: brand voice, content strategy, event planning, and community presence. Your work will directly drive, volunteer recruitment/engagement, and donor confidence. If you want to do work that compounds in value and genuinely matters, this is it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Brand & Communications

  • Own Track3's brand voice and ensure it is applied consistently across all channels and materials
  • Build and manage a content calendar covering social media, newsletters, event announcements, and impact stories
  • Create compelling digital content — written, visual, and video — that tells Track3's story to athletes, families, volunteers, and donors
  • Manage Track3's social media presence and grow our following and email list meaningfully

Events Planning & Execution

  • Plan and execute Track3's signature fundraising events including the annual Golf Tournament and Ski/Snowboard Day
  • Plan and execute recruitment events that raise visibility and cultivate new relationships
  • Manage event logistics from concept to closeout: venue, vendors, volunteers, registration, communications, and follow-up

Impact Storytelling & Fundraising Support

  • Capture athlete stories, program highlights, and impact data throughout the season for use in grant applications and donor communications
  • Support the Development Officer with donor-facing materials, appeal campaigns, and stewardship content
  • Develop a donor stewardship calendar ensuring major donors and funders hear from Track3 consistently, not only at ask time

Glen Eden Program Growth

  • Support the growth of Track3's Glen Eden adaptive ski program — a core mandate of this role funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation
  • Develop and execute targeted outreach and recruitment campaigns to grow athlete participation at Glen Eden over the 3-year term, with measurable increases in registered participants year over year
  • Build community awareness of the Glen Eden program among families, referral networks, rehabilitation organizations, and adaptive sport communities in the surrounding area
  • Work closely with the Program Lead to ensure marketing efforts directly translate into athlete registrations and sustained program engagement

Volunteer & Athlete Recruitment Marketing

  • Build and maintain recruitment campaigns that attract new volunteers and athletes to Track3 programs
  • Develop materials that communicate the Track3 volunteer experience — what it is, why it matters, and how to get involved

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3–5 years of marketing, communications, or events experience — nonprofit sector an asset but not required
  • Strong written communication skills — you write clearly, warmly, and in a voice that fits the organization
  • Proficiency in social media management, email marketing (Mailchimp or similar), and basic graphic design (Canva)
  • Event planning experience — you know how to run something from a blank page to a successful event day
  • Self-directed and comfortable working autonomously
  • Genuine alignment with Track3's mission — a connection to sport, disability, inclusion, or community development is a real asset
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Collingwood / Grey-Bruce-Simcoe area — proximity to The Blue Mountains programs is preferred
