About the Position
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator (Coordinator) works directly with the Communications and Marketing Officer and the CEO and is responsible for executing tactics to support marketingand communications campaigns and strategies to drive awareness and engagement with Easter Seals Canada donors and stakeholders. Below is an outline of your duties and responsibilities, as well as the characteristics and skills that will position you for success.
Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing & Campaign Support
- Write and produce marketing content such as email marketing, newsletters, websites, and videos.
- Work in partnership with marketing agency to execute seasonal and brand campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and assets align with brand guidelines across all channels and platforms.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, vendors and community partners.
Content Creation & Coordination (Platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X)
- Develop monthly content calendar in alignment with Marcom strategy
- Create engaging visual assets, photo and video content using Canva (or similar)
- Schedule and publish content using Hootsuite or similar tools.
- Monitor social media engagement (e.g., comments, DMs); identify and escalate issues as required.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand standards and core organizational messaging.
- Prepare data-driven reports that provide insight into our community as well as recommendations to grow and strengthen it.
Project Management
- Develop project timelines that prioritize tasks to completion.
- Deliver wrap-up reports that include key results and future project recommendations.
- Work with departments and provincial stakeholders to create the Annual Report.

Skills
- Strong writing and editing skills for creating clear, compelling content across multiple channels.
- Social media expertise, including content creation, scheduling (e.g., Hootsuite) and analytics for platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
- Analytical mindset to interpret engagement metrics and optimize content performance.
- Basic design skills and hands-on experience producing content with Canva.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Survey Monkey, and Campaign Monitor or similar analytics and reporting tools an asset.
- Project coordination abilities to manage timelines, priorities, and multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Understanding marketing principles, including branding, audience engagement, and campaign execution.
- Graphic design, video production, and web development experience are assets.
- Working knowledge of French an asset.
Education and Other Experience
- Diploma/Degree in related field.
- 2+ years of communications and marketing communications experience.
