The Corporate Finance Team hosts the financial and information management components for the broader organization. Along with the traditional accounting and financial stewardship role, this unit provides financial and professional expertise and oversight to HQ and Country Office operations in an efficient and effective manner. This unit is a key resource in strategic planning and leads in budgeting, forecasting and business analysis and compliance.
The Manager, Treasury & Strategic Finance plays a key role in strengthening treasury operations, cash management, and foreign exchange (FX) risk management.
This position has day-to-day responsibility for treasury monitoring, investment oversight, FX management, and financial control enhancement. The role partners closely with all Managers in Corporate Finance Services and The position also provides operational leadership support to Corporate Finance projects and serves as back-up to the other Managers in Corporate Finance, ensuring continuity of financial stewardship.
WHAT YOU OFFER / ABOUT YOU
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience.
- Demonstrated experience in treasury management and/or investment oversight.
- Experience managing multi-currency transactions and FX risk.
- Understanding of restricted fund/project accounting.
- Experience interacting with auditors and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Strong analytical, governance, and risk management capabilities.
- CPA or equivalent education or experience
- A combination of relevant experience, training, and/or education.
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU EXTRAORDINARY
- Experience in international development or complex funding environments
- Exposure to controllership functions.
- Demonstrated leadership potential.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation, or working toward it
- CFA, FRM, or equivalent treasury/risk management designation considered an asset
- Treasury, risk management, or governance training.
- Professional development in financial systems or automation.
REQUIREMENTS

WHAT WE OFFER / ABOUT CARE
- Starting salary range between $92,000 - $97,000
