Manager, Public Engagement & Alumni

We’re Hiring: Manager, Public Engagement & Alumni (1-Year Contract): Join Cuso International and help mobilize Canadians to create a more equitable and sustainable world!

As Manager, Public Engagement & Alumni, you will lead strategies that inspire, connect, and mobilize Canadians - growing our community of alumni, partners, and supporters. Reporting to the Director of Engagement, you will play a key role in strengthening our visibility, partnerships, and storytelling impact.

What You’ll do

• Lead and mentor a dynamic engagement team
• Design and deliver public engagement strategies & events (virtual and in-person)
• Grow and activate a national alumni network as advocates and ambassadors
• Build partnerships across sector networks (e.g., OCIC, CanWaCH, AQOCI, Cooperation Canada)
• Collaborate on fundraising, storytelling, and donor engagement initiatives
• Oversee results tracking within a MEAL framework and report on impact

What you bring

• 7+ years in public engagement, communications, or marketing
• 2+ years of team leadership experience
• Strong storytelling, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills
• Experience with alumni/community engagement and partnership building
• Knowledge of MEAL or Results-Based Management frameworks
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and anti-oppression
• English required; French bilingualism is a strong asset
