Cuso International is seeking a bilingual Manager, Marketing & Communications to join our Engagement team and help amplify the stories, impact, and mission of our global development work.

In this dynamic leadership role, you will develop and execute multi-channel marketing and communications strategies that strengthen Cuso’s visibility, engage diverse audiences, support volunteer and alumni engagement, and showcase the impact of our programs in Canada and around the world.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the development and implementation of integrated marketing and communications strategies.
  • Manage corporate communications, brand visibility, media relations, and digital engagement.
  • Oversee content creation across channels, including web, social media, email, reports, campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Support alumni, volunteer, donor, and public engagement initiatives through compelling storytelling and targeted communications.
  • Use analytics and performance reporting to improve reach, engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Lead and support a creative team, manage vendors and budgets, and ensure consistent, accessible, high-quality communications in English and French.

What we’re looking for:

  • Fluency in both French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing and communications, ideally in the nonprofit or international development sector.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including social media, email marketing, SEO, SEM, web content, and analytics.
  • Experience developing multi-channel campaigns and creating engaging content for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CRM platforms, CMS tools, WordPress, and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong project management, collaboration, budget management, and vendor relationship skills.
  • A passion for international development, equity, and creating positive global impact.
