The Manager, Events & Communications will support organizational visibility, community engagement, and revenue-generating initiatives. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role contributes to the planning and delivery of key events, oversees communications efforts, and supports the development of partnerships that advance our mission.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Events & Engagement

  • Support planning and execution of fundraising and community events
  • Coordinate logistics, timelines, and stakeholder engagement
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure successful event delivery

Communications

  • Assist in developing and implementing communications strategies
  • Create and manage content for digital platforms, marketing materials, and stakeholder communications
  • Help strengthen and maintain the organization’s brand and public presence

Partnerships & Revenue Support

  • Contribute to sponsorship and partnership initiatives
  • Support donor and partner engagement activities
  • Assist with tracking and reporting on event and revenue outcomes

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–5 years’ experience in events, communications, fundraising, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Experience working with community partners or sponsors is considered an asset
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and respect
