Under the WCG Service System Manager framework, we deliver innovative programs that help clients achieve meaningful, sustained employment while supporting employers in building strong teams.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Manager of Employment Services to lead a team of Employment Services professionals, including Employment Counsellors, Job Developers, and Administrative staff. This is a pivotal role for an experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a measurable impact on people’s lives.
Job Description
- Lead and Inspire: Supervise and coach a diverse team to deliver exceptional employment services and meet performance targets.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day program delivery, ensuring compliance with WCG standards and organizational policies.
- Achieve Outcomes: Monitor client employment and retention results, ensuring programs meet or exceed contractual goals.
- Build Partnerships: Maintain strong employer relationships to secure job opportunities and support sustained employment.
- Grow Community Partnerships: Strengthen client intake and support client pathways.
- Ensure Compliance: Manage reporting, risk identification, and adherence to funding requirements.
- Manage Budgets: Operate within allocated resources and support financial accountability.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in employment services, workforce development, or related fields.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams of 10+ staff.
- Strong operational management skills with a focus on outcomes and compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Knowledge of Ontario employment services and WCG framework is an asset.
- Ability to pass a Level 2 criminal background check.
