WHERE YOU COME IN
We are looking for a Manager, Corporate Partnerships (West) to join our team at Make-A-Wish Canada. In this role, reporting to the Director, Corporate Partnerships (West), you will drive revenue growth by managing, stewarding, and expanding relationships with new and existing corporate partners, ensuring the successful delivery of partnership commitments and maximizing donor satisfaction.
Working collaboratively across departments, you will support the execution of campaigns, activations, and recognition initiatives that deliver mutual value and align with organizational priorities.
This role can be based in Calgary or Vancouver and is a full-time, hybrid, permanent position. The hiring range for this role is $83,000-$88,000.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Solicit, manage and steward an assigned portfolio of corporate donors and sponsors, ensuring strong relationship management and long-term revenue growth.
- Oversee and execute all partnership deliverables, ensuring sponsorship commitments are fulfilled and partners receive exceptional value and recognition.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key corporate contacts through regular communication, meetings, and strategic check-ins.
- Identify and advance opportunities for partnership renewal, expansion, and multi-year commitments to deepen engagement and increase impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align corporate partner priorities with organizational initiatives and maximize shared outcomes.
- Support the planning and execution of corporate-led fundraising campaigns, activations, and donor engagement initiatives.
- Ensure a seamless and positive partner experience during events, volunteer engagements, and recognition activities.
- Serve as a visible ambassador of the Foundation within the local market, cultivating relationships with donors, community leaders, and partners to build awareness and drive engagement.
- Represent the Foundation at community events, donor meetings, public forums, and internal gatherings, modeling organizational values and mission.
- Accurately document donor interactions and partnership activities in Salesforce CRM, maintaining data integrity and tracking performance metrics.
- Other duties as required.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Post-secondary education in Fundraising, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or equivalent combination of training, education and work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in corporate partnerships, account management, or related roles.
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience working in a non-profit or charitable organization preferred.
- Experience stewarding donors or clients and supporting renewal processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak to large groups and in front of the public or local media.
- Access to reliable transportation to and from the office, as well as for attendance at events, donor meetings, and for other local needs.
- A clear Criminal Background Check will be required.
YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Hybrid work model, with 2 days in-office per week and 3 days remote. Occasional travel to local event venues and donor/sponsor locations may be required. Occasional evening and weekend work may also be required.

- Work under pressure of tight deadlines, balancing high volume workload, and with multiple demands and changing priorities.
