The Manager, Compliance & Accreditation will play a crucial role in preparing Fred Victor for accreditation and ensuring that the organization’s diverse programs, ranging from mental health, health, housing, Community services, Bridging and housing stabilization, Food, shelter and all FV programs meet the professional standards required by accreditation bodies such as the Canadian Centre for Accreditation (CCA) or Accreditation Canada and funders.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Research, Quality & Data, the Manager leads the coordination and implementation of accreditation readiness activities across Fred Victor’s diverse portfolio, including mental health services, health programs, housing, employment supports, shelter services, bridging and housing stabilization, and community programs.

This role ensures that programs, policies, documentation systems, and service practices align with the standards of accreditation bodies such as the Canadian Centre for Accreditation (CCA), Accreditation Canada, funders, and applicable regulatory requirements. The Manager supports organization-wide audit readiness, coordinates internal reviews, and works closely with program leadership to embed compliance and quality practices into day-to-day operations. The role acts as a central resource for accreditation processes, internal compliance monitoring, and quality improvement initiatives that strengthen service excellence and accountability across Fred Victor.

What You Will Do:

· Under the Associate Director, Research, Quality and Data, the manager will act the primary expert on accreditation standards and requirements provided by accreditation bodies.

· Serve as an internal resource on accreditation standards and compliance requirements, supporting consistent understanding and application across programs.

· Coordinate organization-wide accreditation readiness activities in alignment with accrediting body standards and timelines.

· Support the implementation of compliance frameworks and operational practices that align with legislative and regulatory requirements.

· Coordinate the systematic collection and organization of accreditation evidence, including client records, policy manuals, incident documentation, and safety protocols.

· Ensure programs maintain audit-ready documentation and practice standards at all times.

· Support the preparation of required reports and documentation for accreditation reviews.

· Leads the systematic collection of evidence for practices and ensures the organization of client files, policy manuals, and safety protocols to prove compliance.

· Works with the Quality, Research and Data team to in Quality Improvement and develop action plans to address service gaps to meet accreditation requirements.

· Regular meetings and coordination with site/program lead to discuss action plans in preparation for accreditation.

· Providing technical support to staff to where capacity building is required to address specific program needs for accreditation.

· Under the supervision of the Associate Director, serves the main point of contact between Fred Victor and the external accreditation bodied.

· Coordinate the logistics of intensive multiple site visits, prepare "site leads" at various locations, and manage self-assessment as a form of mock accreditation.

What You Bring to the Team:

· A bachelor’s degree in program business administration, monitoring, auditing, evaluation, social work or other relevant degree

· 3+ years of experience in accreditation work with not-for-profit or programs regularly undergoing accreditation

· Experience in quality assurance, compliance, and program evaluation is crucial.

What Sets You Apart:

· Knowledge of vulnerable communities who are experiencing homelessness and the homelessness sector

· Demonstrated experience and/or training in program auditing and evaluation of practice/standards

· Experience with conducting program audits/assessments

· Knowledge of compliance regulation

· Excellent understanding of accreditation requirements in social services

· Highly developed written, presentation and oral communication skills

· Developed interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with the program leads and external agencies/partners and FV staff

· Strong skills with motivating and training staff teams to meet deadlines

· Highly developed ability to plan and prioritize work

· Experience of accreditation work in multi-service agency is an asset

· Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

· Literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, D-Base programs, SMIS, and DataSphere

Compensation and Benefits:

· For the Manager, Compliance & Accreditation, Fred Victor offers a salary range of $74,217.00 to $92,781.00

· 4 weeks of vacation to start + 1 float day
