This is an exciting time to be part of the Oakville & Milton Humane Society!

We’re proud of a long tradition of care and compassion as local leader in animal welfare. We are valued for our community services… and we’re well-supported. But we’re not standing still. We’re growing, evolving, and setting our sights higher - to serve more animals, more families, and a rapidly growing community.

As we continue to strengthen our impact, we’re looking for a motivated, outgoing, creative, and community-minded professional to join our team as our Manager, Annual Giving!

This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves, bring new ideas to life, and help shape the future of fundraising at OMHS. You’ll work closely with the Director, Development, the broader Fund Development team and the whole organization to build and grow programs that inspire engagement and community connection.

In this role, you’ll lead our annual giving efforts, including direct mail and monthly giving, and manage campaigns like our calendar and bingo programs. You’ll oversee the donor experience from first gift to long-term stewardship, ensuring every interaction reflects the care and compassion that define OMHS.

You’ll also provide leadership and management in support of others on the development team, while collaborating closely with colleagues across the organization to create strategies that engage donors and drive results.

This role is about both heart and hustle, balancing creativity with data, and passion with process. It’s about bringing people together around a shared purpose and ensuring that every donor, big or small, feels like a valued part of our mission and story.

If you’re someone who loves to collaborate, thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment, and believes there’s nothing you can’t learn when you’re part of a great team - we’d love to hear from you.

Join us and help make an incredible difference for animals and the people who love them by submitting your expressive cover letter and resume today!
