The Canadian Celiac Association British Columbia is a registered non-profit, volunteer-run charity based in Vancouver, BC, dedicated to empowering and supporting individuals affected by celiac disease, dermatitis herpetiformis, and other gluten-related conditions. Our work includes providing support and education, funding research and raising awareness.

Role Description
This is a volunteer Magazine Designer & Editor role with the Canadian Celiac Association British Columbia. First published in 1973 as a newsletter, our charity's quarterly publication has evolved to become a Magazine that is distributed online to over 270 people, while another 50-100 copies are printed for individuals, corporate partners, and public events throughout BC. Key to our education and support mission, the magazine is known across Canada for its balance in featuring a range of articles, links to research, valuable health information, recipes, and local news. Using Canva, our volunteer Designer will create a compelling presentation for content received from enthusiastic contributors, along with ads provided by businesses. This is a volunteer remote role, based in Vancouver, BC.
