What You Will Do
Design, test, and optimize prompt engineering workflows using large language models (LLMs) to support Samawada’s communications, research, and digital operations.
Develop AI-assisted tools to automate content generation, report drafting, and proposal writing.
Collaborate with the communications, research, and fundraising teams to create LLM-powered solutions that improve project documentation, donor engagement, and storytelling.
Train and fine-tune models to generate high-quality text outputs aligned with Samawada’s voice, ethics, and mission.
Research and recommend AI integration strategies for non-profit operations — such as knowledge management, chatbot development, or multilingual content translation.
Ensure ethical and responsible use of AI systems, prioritizing transparency, accuracy, and data privacy.
What We Are Looking For
Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or Llama.
Proficiency in prompt engineering, AI-assisted workflows, and automation scripting (Python experience an asset).
Familiarity with AI APIs, fine-tuning, embeddings, or vector databases.
Excellent communication and analytical skills with attention to ethical AI principles.
Ability to work independently while collaborating within a remote, mission-driven team.
Experience with non-profit, humanitarian, or sustainability-focused projects is an asset but not required.
