Lead Graphic Designer & Creative Strategist (Volunteer, Part Time, Remote)
LEAD GRAPHIC DESIGNER & CREATIVE STRATEGIST (VOLUNTEER, PART TIME, REMOTE)
Organization: Right to Live Canada
Location: Remote (Canada-wide)
Time Commitment: 7-12 hours per week (Flexible)
THE MISSION
Canada is currently facing a human rights crisis of international consequence: poverty-driven disability euthanasia (MAiD). Right to Live Canada is engineering the only viable, system-level alternative to this crisis—Social Brokerage. By creating a pipeline between sources of raw capital and specific social good outcomes, we exchange philanthropic and corporate capital for verified, life-affirming results.
Right to Live Canada is currently in a pre-pilot phase, developing a suite of diverse social impact products that turn complex logistical challenges into standardized, purchasable B2B assets. We are building a market-based solution to systemic poverty, and we need a creative and intelligent designer to help us visualize it.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a Lead Graphic Designer & Creative Strategist to serve as the visual architect for our organization’s most critical initiatives. This role is not just about making things look "pretty"; it is about understanding complex business models and translating them into compelling, high-stakes marketing materials that drive capital toward social change.
Working directly with the Founder and Executive Director, you will own the visual identity of our corporate proposals, pitch decks, and sales collateral. You will take disruptive theoretical models and turn them into "investor-ready" assets that command attention in the boardroom.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pitch Deck & Proposal Design: Lead the visual design of comprehensive corporate sponsorship proposals and investor-ready pitch decks.
- Asset Creation: Develop a suite of sales materials, including "one-sheets," brochures, and digital mock-ups that clearly outline product value propositions.
- Brand Translation: Distill complex socio-economic theories into crisp, persuasive infographics and visual narratives.
- Project Ownership: Manage the end-to-end design process, from initial discovery and brand alignment to the delivery of final, production-ready assets.
- Cross-Project Synergy: Create a cohesive visual language across multiple distinct projects to ensure a professional and unified brand presence.
WHO THIS IS FOR
This role is for a "builder"—a high-level creative who understands that design is a tool for conversion and communication.
This role is a good fit for someone who:
- Has a professional portfolio demonstrating experience in creating B2B marketing materials or corporate sponsorship decks.
- Is capable of self-managing and owning projects from concept to completion.
- Can grasp complex "Social Brokerage" models and translate them into visual layouts with brevity and punch.
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, pre-pilot environment where the "product" is being defined in real-time.
- Is an expert in industry-standard design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
WHAT'S IN IT FOR THE VOLUNTEER
- Executive Ownership: High-visibility creative leadership over the foundational documents of a groundbreaking solution to a national crisis.
- Portfolio Impact: A cornerstone portfolio piece demonstrating your ability to brand complex, market-based social solutions.
- Direct Mentorship: Direct collaboration with the Founder / Executive Director.
- Professional Recognition: LinkedIn skill endorsements and a formal letter of reference upon successful completion of core project milestones.
- Purpose-Driven Work: The opportunity to be a primary architect in creating the world’s first market-based alternative to poverty-driven euthanasia.
