Unpaid Volunteer Position

Reports to: IT Support
Major Responsibilities:
- Learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes relevant to the industry.
- Assist with day-to-day tasks and troubleshoot any technical issues.
- Collaboratively working with CDRCP colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with team members, mentors, and stakeholders.
- Assist users with SharePoint and OneDrive file access and synchronization issues.
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity issues for laptops and mobile devices.
- Support basic network troubleshooting under guidance from senior IT staff.
- Document processes, architecture decisions, and SOPs as work is completed
- Assist with end-user support and onboarding
- Participate in testing new configurations before rollout
- Exposure to Entra ID, user/group management. (Add to required skills)
- Exposure to Power Platform (Power automate and dynamics 365) (Add to required skills)
Qualifications:
- Preferred if enrolled in an IT or computer science program in post-secondary school.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Acceptable Vulnerable check.
- Flexible schedule
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Ethernet cabling and patch panel connections
- Ability to troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity issues
- Familiarity with Windows 10 and Windows 11 troubleshooting
- Familiarity with SharePoint and OneDrive
- Knowledge of IT asset inventory management
- Microsoft office
