ORGANIZATION

Based in Toronto, Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits is a Canadian charity, 100% volunteer-led that provides management consulting to improve organizational capacity and community impact for non-profits that otherwise cannot afford professional consulting.

Endeavour has two consulting engagement rounds during the year, in the fall and in the spring. For each round, Endeavour will recruit and match teams of skilled volunteers with non-profit organizations in need of pro bono consulting.

Since 2007, Endeavour has engaged more than 1000 volunteers on over 134 projects, delivering more than $8 million in pro bono consulting to local, national and international non-profits based in Canada. Endeavour’s partnerships with leading corporations in Canada offer pro bono and skills-based volunteering opportunities that contribute to employee engagement, professional and leadership development, talent retention and corporate responsibility goals.

ROLE

Endeavour is looking for a volunteer to join the IT Division as an IT Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing coordination, documentation and training support to the IT Division. With the primary focus of ensuring that the IT Division’s formalization efforts are continuously meeting IT Standards and Best Practices

RESPONSIBILITIES

Organizational Contribution

  • In collaboration with the entire IT Division, develop and maintain materials including but not limited to IT procedures, users guides, trainings and knowledge base information
  • Provide project coordination support for the VP and Directors within the IT Division
  • Complete end user training on Google Workspace and Salesforce on functionality based on predefined training plans
  • Coordinate and facilitate IT Division meetings by chairing meetings, maintaining agendas, completing notes and ensuring action items are appropriately addressed
  • As required, coordinate and schedule cross-functional meetings between the VP/Directors of the IT Division and other divisions within Endeavour
  • Keep up to date on Google Workspace and Salesforce best practices and trends

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Ability to work in a shift environment
  • Long-term commitment (1-2+ years) to Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits
  • Interest in non-profit sector
  • 2 or more years experience in IT or Project coordination
  • Ability to collaborate and deliver results in a virtual work environment
  • Detail oriented and self-starter with strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill

Preferred:

  • Endeavour volunteer experience
  • Understanding of client relationship management platforms
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and Salesforce
